Greetings! Earthlings and Space Travelers!
Looking for a Spaceship?
Each spaceship is in its own Docking Bay. For a quick link to ships in each of 25 Bays, click on one of the links on the left that says "Docking Bays nn-nn," or there is a complete list of the dozens of docking bays at the end of this page.
In each Docking Bay is factual inside, historical background and design information on each specific spaceships. For sale at reasonable cost are precision design drawings that will allow you to build an accurate model of that spaceship -- of any size you choose. These drawings will be of special interest to:
- Modelers, especially those competing in the N.A.R. Future-Fiction Scale competitions.
(N.A.R.= National Association of Rocketry)
- Historians and Scientific Researchers,
- Discerning Science Fiction collectors;
- Future Space Travelers, who may wish to impress their friends with their vast knowledge of Spaceships, and Space Adventure.
- Anyone interested in Science Fiction, Space Travel, and the Future
Because Spaceships can be either Fictional or factual, they can be identified as belonging to one of five classifications as follows.
- Pseudo (Class 0) - Pseudo-Spaceships exist in form and intent only. (Impossible or magic)
- Inspirational (Class1) - Fantasy, Fantastic, or Far Future Spaceships with little engineering in their design.
- Visionary (Class 2) - Near future Spaceships with significant purposeful engineering in their design.
- Real (Class 3) - Fully Engineered Spaceships with some construction and testing but not flown.
- Spacecraft (Class 4) - Real spaceships that have flown and proven their capability.
There are no Spacecraft (Class 4) spaceships on this site. Please see the links page in Port Authority for websites that have information on real Spacecrafts. Further information regarding spaceship classes and their implications will be added later.
